Langeland School raises 70.000 NOK during Solidarity Week!

Students at Langeland School during Solidarity Week

Langeland School in Stord became our new supporter this fall, and we are extremely grateful for this! Principal Anne Margrethe Madtsen is part of our newly established teacher team, Tanzania Project Teachers, and participated in this summer's teacher seminar in Mbamba Bay.

Anne Margrethe reports that during the week, all levels have worked with various topics related to Tanzania, the Nyasa district, education (Article 28 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child), solidarity, and the Tanzania Project. They have practiced singing Jambo Bwana and created products for an exhibition related to the topics they worked on. On Friday, they had an exhibition for the parents with a café and a solidarity run around the school, and thus collected nearly 70.000 NOK! We at Tanzania Project are super impressed and extremely grateful!
